Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

The Authority (TCJMA) continues to monitor the spread and increased risk of COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus.  To guard against the spread of the virus, TCJMA will continue the following changes in its operations to protect the health, safety, and welfare of its customers and employees.  These changes, adopted in March, will remain in effect until further notice.

Board Meetings. The Board meeting for June 2, 2021, will be held at the Fredericktown Fire Hall. Please contact the office planning to attend to discuss a specific issue or if you need more details. Social distancing protocol will apply until further notice for all in-person meetings.

Office Functions.  The office located at 26 Monongahela in Fredericktown will be closed to the public but will be staffed to answer any questions from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday by calling us at (724) 377-2211. Customers are strongly encouraged to make all payments either by mail, online, or over the telephone.  Payments hand-delivered to the office will be accepted through the door drop box at the office entrance.  Cash payments are discouraged but will be accepted with the understanding that no change will be made for overpayments. Any overpayment will be applied to the account as a credit. New or reactivation of water service must be made by calling the office to make an appointment or request an application for service to be received via US Mail or email and sent back either via US Mail or email.

Meter Reading. TCJMA personnel will not be entering homes or businesses.  Customers who have meters that must be read inside their property will have their bills estimated based upon past usage.  These customers have the option, however, of calling their meter reads into the office by the 25th of the month of their regular billing cycle.

TCJMA management will monitor the situation in conjunction with local and state authorities and will provide updates as necessary.  We will also post updates to our website at www.tricountypa.org.
