Public Notice of Water Rate Adjustment
Effective February 1, 2026
The Tri-County Joint Municipal Authority Board of Directors approved a resolution on December 11, 2025, authorizing an adjustment to the water usage rate.
Beginning February 1, 2026, the rate for water usage will increase from $1.20 to $1.45 per one hundred gallons. This adjustment applies to all customer classes.
What is not changing
- Base service fees remain the same
- The capital improvement fee remains unchanged
- Only the per‑usage rate is affected
Why the adjustment is necessary
This rate modification supports the Authority’s ongoing commitment to:
- Maintaining reliable water service
- Managing operational and treatment costs
- Planning for long-term system maintenance and infrastructure needs
When you will see the change
The new rate will appear on billing statements issued after February 1, 2026.
